Dr Paul Kelley

Paul is a founding partner of Download Learning Ltd and Chairman of our advisory board.

An educationalist of international renown, Paul pioneered the practical application of neuroscience based learning and then, recognising that that was only part of the solution for optimised learning, started studying the influence of circadian rhythms on learning outcome.

Paul is at the forefront of the circadian rhythms research and, in his role as Research Fellow at the University of Oxford helped lead the Nuffield Department of Clinical Neuroscience team conducting circadian rhythm research.

A Californian, living in the NW of England whilst working with the Surrey based Download team, Paul credits also include working on the development of the much loved and valued BBC Bitesize. He now works with the Open University.
